Alicia Keys as "Gangsta" the definition is negative.
Alicia Keys is a positive indiviual and a better word is "Real" more proper.

In the context given "gangsta" is of a positive definition so your offense is unwarranted. Nonetheless, I actually find it impolite that you are instructing me on what I should/shouldn't post. I will refer to folks as I choose to on my blog.
