Nas back? Cmon now Deev...Nas never left. He may do things we may not understand some times, or he may just plain offend you, but everything he does.. he does from the heart. And he won't compromise his feelings for no-one. So with Nas it's either you understand his contradictions and thoughts as a human or you can keep it moving. I admit I'm a Nas f(st)an through the good and bad times, even when the whole industry gangs up on him.peace

Nah you ain't riding out on this one Frank! I've been a Nas supporter through hell and high water. I've interviewed him 5 times. TRUST he "left" the building. When he signed to Jay he left the building! I'm not sayin he's sitting at his desk again but he's definitely in the lobby!

O.K how exactly did he "leave the building" by signing to Jay-Z? Expound please...

who? under Jay, is really saying anything lyrically to the people,
other then something just, to dance too

he let J buy him out. They did not have a "friendly" beef. A man says he left condoms on your child's baby seat and basically goes at YOUR neck to try to humiliate you and end your career and you sign under him? C'mon b. There are far more dignified ways to make amends.

So,um it seems to me the real reason you are "mad" at Nas is due to a personal decision he made and not really his music...
Anyway, all I'll say this, I admit I'm a distant fan, I've never met the man. You say you interviewed him 5 times, so maybe you know him personally hence your feelings on the issue. In my case his personal issues don't really move me one way or the other. I can only appreciate his music and his legacy in hiphop. fair enough?

Now this is definitely more like it. I'm pretty much a die hard fan. I can remember arguing with n*ggas in high school about why Nas was the true king of NY. Dudes really didn't even understand what he was saying back then. His vocabulary alone made him stand out. When he's on point, very few (if any) can hang with him. Sometimes his words or actions may seem a little off but you can't be that talented and not be touched in some type of way. I just hope the cd has more joints along the lines of this one on it.

Escobar season begins.......repent your sins! (I just felt like saying that) LOL

I'ma quote an earlier comment from myself "he's always been my favorite MC, so I have this hope (that keeps getting beaten on) that he'll come round and tell everyone that this wack shit was a joke and release the real single."

We been hoodwinked! For once, I'm happy to say it.

I was shocked when Nas sign under Jay too,
... but Nas killed J on "Stillmatic" you feel me
he killed him.

Gee Amanda...make up your mind already about Nas.

This track leaked a few days ago--it's off the GTA IV soundtrack.

Song is tough (after a 2nd listen)...although I'm not exactly a staunch advocate of Stereotypes Gone Wild. I mean GTA IV
